Flowering Grass

I took this picture months ago when everything was lush and green. You may not know this but even grass has flowers! However, after posting Annual Bluegrass for Flower #33, I decided not to include any more grass species in my flower count. Grass is lovely, but the flowers of grass are not what we typically consider to be blossoms with vibrant colors and a recognizable flower shape. However, that doesn't stop me from taking pictures! :D I've taken countless pictures of different grasses from bud to golden stems with empty seed husks waving in the wind...there is no end to the wonderful pictures one can take of grass! I hope you like this image, and the close-up below!
