Thanks, everyone! It's nice the beaver have made such a comeback, after being hunted nearly to extinction for the fur trade up into the early 19th century. I've got some other pix I'll post along. I have no pictures of an actual beaver, tho--the critters are elusive!

It apparently takes a while--my understanding is that these dams are multi-generational endeavors. But it's still impressive!
