A Little Bit of a Theme Stretch

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: SPORTING EVENTS OR COMPETITIONS
I seem to have run out of sports themes in our family photos and the ones I buy and collect. No surprise there as we were not big sports fans on either side! So, I'm sliding this one in with a bit of a wink.
We were just down in Sunapee, New Hampshire for the week On the way home we stopped at a real old junk store in Newport, N.H. (although I did find a really sweet hand mirror amongst thousand of junky junks!) BUT on the checkout counter was a box marked FREE with some really cool vintage photos - so I picked out a bunch.
So... my stretch is the front page of The Argus Champion which has an article on the front proclaiming:
600 Youngsters Hit Sunapee Ski Slopes For Children's Day
I believe this is the mid-1950s.
