From a friend of my mother's whose father had a Photography Studio in North Dakota c. 1920.
My mother's friend (Mimi) was an artist and my mother took lessons from her. Mimi used old photos from her father's studio for students in her class to copy.
When she heard that I collected old photos, she gave them to my mother to give to me.
