Boy and Foal

A sculpture by David McFall commissioned for the Festival of Britain, London, 1951.
This was a celebration held to highlight the positive in Britain - in pretty bleak, post- war years.
This picture was taken by my mother, on a first year date with my father. She thought the festival was "marvelous." Not sure if she thought this sculpture was.
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Art and/or artists."
