"I Pity the Poor Immigrant"

"To Harry and Agnes From Jack and Meg."
Jack was either Harry or Agnes' cousin. (My husband's grandparents.) Jack sent the following letter to them in the States where they had already emigrated. (This photo was sent about a year later.)
(I've posted a copy of this in comments to show the first page - but have transcribed the second page for ease of reading.) Rather pathetic letter - I wonder what happened to them. There doesn't seem to be any contact that was saved after this one, except for the photograph.

Dear Aggie & Harry
Very many thanks for your welcome letter wich (sic) reached us all right. Now for the bombshell. Meg had a son on Sunday morning the 6th at 9-15. We have called him after Frank. Pleased to say both are doing well. Pleased to know you are both doing well & little Rod also. (sic really "Ron") Sorry to say I made the biggest mistake of my life when I came here. If ever we can save up the price of our fare home again off we'll go like shots. Poor Meg kin [?] very sorry for the way she's placed. There is nobody in the house to watch the two warriors & she's worried all the time about them. Pleased to say I'm in a fairly decent job only living here is frightfully dear & it takes all my wages to keep us. I'm very sorry it wasn't the States I went to instead of here. However I've made my bed so I'll just have to lie on it. By jove but it's warm here. We're just about the height of summer.
Please excuse writing & paper as I'm doing this in the office. I'm manager of the stores in this firm so you can address your letters to here and I'll be sure of getting them. I hope you had a good time at Christmas & New Year. We were very quiet indeed. It was the quietest it's ever been . Sorry no more news at present. Wishing the three of you many merry best wishes for the incoming year & hoping to hear from you soon.
I remain yours very sincerely, Jack Fleming
PS Thanks very much to [?] for your kind offer about sharing the house. we would be very pleased & glad if it were possible for us to come up to you but at present don't see any way of managing it. Best wishes from us all your loving cousins.
