Stripes, Hairnet and Earrings

She looks so sour, but looking at her closely she appears to have circles under her eyes, so maybe she was ill, or just out of sorts from feeling poorly.
Her hair and dress seem like 1860s to me - but I've seen other tintypes on Flickr with this paper frame, so I'd be interested if anyone can tell the time period using that as a guide.
Found in the Grimshaw/Halkard Album, Springfield, Vermont.
See set for full explanation.
Unknown friend or relative.
