Haha, he is a lap cat and loves to be with us as we watch T.V.! :-))

Val, this is an absolutely precious portrait of your dear kitty. It's perfect in every way. Except for the following:

I cannot lean over and give Rusty an adoring kiss on the noggin. Nor a skritch behind the ears or under his chin. I cannot cuddle close, burrowing my face into his soft, warm coat, smelling his wonderful scent of pure kittiness. And I cannot hear his rumbling purr or feel it reverberating through me when I lay my ear on his body. I cannot beam in joy to see him stretch his paws out and extend his claws to cling to the rug or to adore the way he tucks his head to then roll on the floor, feet in the air, end of tail flicking back and forth.

These are all very bad faults of your picture. :D Please fix them right away so that I may have the full experience of Rusty!

Great minds think alike. I can use an even slower shutter speed on my cat than I require on an inanimate object.

Lol! Yes, once cats go to sleep, you can use any shutter speed you want on them! ;-)
