The shallow DoF works great here and the diagonal lines add to the strength of the image, Val. Our Mizzie doesn't approve of most brushes and has drawn blood quite a few times! It is interesting to read what you say about the special glove with rubber nubs on it because recently we tried one of these. And, Mizzie does seem to almost like it :-)

Yes my cat loves to be groomed. He prefers this kind of brush but will happily have anything that does the job!!!

Good idea... but there are brushes that imitate another cat's tongue.

I saw those kind of brushes! My cats really love a glove I use that has rubber nubs on it, but I didn't photograph it because it was too messy looking.

Great, Val! Now that you mention it, my cat probably needs to be brushed, as he has long hair. There are fur balls all over the place.
