Always a tinge of sadness with houses (former homes to families) reach this condition. The B/W really plays well with the theme of the photograph. .

Thank you very much, Paul! So sorry for the confusing language! I actually copied and pasted the term directly off the Wikipedia description of "The writing's on the wall". Since you questioned it, I went to Dictionary.com, which defines the word idiom as "an expression whose meaning is not predictable from the usual meanings of its constituent elements, such as kick the bucket or hang one's head." In other words, it's a figure of speech or metaphor rather than a literal interpretation. And, after thinking it over, I suddenly realized that even though this phrase can be used as a metaphor, I actually interpreted the saying in a literal sense, not idiomatic, lol! :-O
