Topo Gigio

When I was 8 years old, I developed a big crush on a little puppet mouse known the world over as Topo Gigio. Little Topo would be a guest on the Ed Sullivan Show, being his cute self with "The Stone Face" Ed Sullivan. Topo invariably succeeded in softening that face with laughter. I had always wanted a Topo doll, but could never find one until I found this beautful example on eBay several years ago. Topo is very special to me for all the fond childhood memories he evokes.

Thank you so much, Karen! My mom was somehow able to find me a Topo bobblehead for my 9th birthday. It was among my most favorite presents! Unfortunately it didn't survive my childhood, but I was able to replace it much later in life (thanks once again to eBay, lol) :))
