Class 442 at Waterloo - 31 May 1988

One of the best preserved of my photographs from the 1980s depicts one of the great survivors of emus in the south. Class 442 has been through several incarnations and returned to what is now South Western Railway in 2019. 2404 was seen in Network SouthEast livery at Waterloo more than 30 years earlier and would have been, I imagine, on a Bournemouth service.
