Kindred Spirits - 5 June 2019

As the peak evening, two boat, service drew to a close, The Gosport ferries Harbour Spirit (r) and Spirit of Gosport headed for Gosport and Portsmouth respectively. HMS Warrior makes an interesting background, reminding us of times long past. This was the evening of the departure of Fred Olsen Boudicca to Normandy with D-Day veterans aboard. Business continued almost uninterrupted in the harbour and by the time Boudicca sailed, ferry service was down to one vessel.
