A model of a PanAm B727 at the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum, Munich. As far as I can tell, the registration N727PA was, in fact, carried by a PanAm B747-200.

A dig through the book reveals that N727PA is currently carried by a Mooney M20C.
From 1984 to 1991 it was a Pan-Am B747-212, preserved near Stockholm Arlanda.
The registration was originally allocated to a Pan-Am Boeing B707-321, in 1960, c/n 17605, which then went to British Midland Airways...
