I came across this unexpectedly in my archive. I was, believe it or not, on a day trip FLL-CVG-MSP-ATL-FLL. In those days there was a Delta Air Pass costing about $300 for 30 days unlimited standby travel.

N615PA at Love Field - 14 November 2019

N615PA, a B727 with a very long history, at Dallas Love Field.
A cool November morning brought sunshine without heat haze and a steady hand brought some fairly decent results for my first trip to Love Field.

This partially derelict B727-200 at Hamilton, Ontario, believed to be ex-N281FL, is reportedly used for film and TV work.

A model of a PanAm B727 at the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum, Munich. As far as I can tell, the registration N727PA was, in fact, carried by a PanAm B747-200.

This ex FedEx B727 N150FE is at the Emil Buehler Aviation Institute at Broward College on the north side of North Perry Airport, Florida.
I think it is unusual that this non-flying airframe still displays its original registration which has since been reallocated to a B767-300F also of FedEx.

M-FTOH at Cotswold Airport - 14 September 2017

Cotswold Airport can be a difficult place at which to photograph but, with perseverance, some nice shots can be got and periodic visits are worthwhile. B727 M-FTOH originally arrived in June 2016. Behind it in this picture is ex Fastjet Zimbabwe A319 Z-FJE.

VP-CZY at Lasham - 9 July 2014

Each time the sun went behind cloud on this July day, the heat haze subsided sufficiently to make possible some fairly reasonable photographs across the airfield at Lasham. One of (at least) six B727s present was Super 27 VP-CZY.

M-STAR at JFK (Mono) - 4 March 2014
06 Mar 2014 |
|
The aftermath of winter storm Titan was in evidence at a well-cleared but very cold JFK as we taxyed for departure to the much warmer San Juan. I was pleased with this snatched shot of executive B727 M-STAR on the north side. I also love the classic hangar which I though made it worthwhile making a b&w version of this. The M- reg, winglets and hush kit are rather a giveaway though.
