700 Series Pumper

Amongst the items not directly railroad related and preserved at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum is this fire truck, an American LaFrance 700 Series Pumper. Launched in 1945, the first examples of this model were delivered in 1947. More than 3000 of these and successor models were delivered before the end of production in 1959.

The illustration used on the poster shown in my picture is of Engine No. 13 (1954) of the Crossett (Arkansas) Fire Department but I do not know if this is the actual vehicle preserved here.
