More Signs of Development (1) - 3 November 2018

I continue to document Lee on Solent in fairly minute and mundane detail in the hope that it might, in the future, be of interest to someone. This scene, facing broadly south west, is taken at the junction of Broom Way and Daedalus Drive. It essentially marks the entrance to Solent Airport and the surrounding development(s) and has for some while been the site of various signs. The pink sign on the right replaced the one I photographed on 21 April 2018 in, I think, early October and shortly thereafter construction began of the structure in front of the sign cluster. Initially, this was a low wall of large bricks but it has since been covered in render. I imagine this will eventually bear a smart sign but progress has been surprisingly slow and closer inspection reveals that a lot of work needs to be done to the base which is presently in a shallow trench.
