700 Series Pumper Amongst the items not directly railroad related and preserved at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum is this fire truck, an American LaFrance 700 Series Pumper. Launched in 1945, the first examples of this model were delivered in 1947. More than 3000 of these and successor models were delivered before the end of production in 1959. The illustration used on the poster shown in my picture is of Engine No. 13 (1954) of the Crossett (Arkansas) Fire Department but I do not know if this is the actual vehicle preserved here. 200_3_P1080443

1958 American LaFrance fire truck of the San Francisco Fire Department at McCormick's Palm Springs Exotic Car Auctions on Indian Canyon Drive. The vehicle has been sold and is awaiting collection by the purchaser. 200_2_P1070953
