There But Not There (12) - 2 November 2018

There But Not There is a nationwide initiative by the charity Remember in 2018, the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. In addition to the the Standing Tommies depicted earlier in my photostream, figures were made specifically to commemorate individuals named on local war memorials and to be displayed on benches or chairs. These are two figures of the five displayed in St Faiths Church, Lee on Solent and commemorate (l) Sergeant Percy Luff and (r) Gunner Hedley Newman.
