Gold Coast Railroad Museum (13) - 28 October 2018
Seaboard Locomotive No. 4033
Seaboard Air Line EMD* FP10 locomotive No. 4033 at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum.
*I am treating with some circumspection the quality of my notes on this locomotive. Its reportedly 'recent' scheme is of Seaboard Air Line although I believe it was formerly F3 No. 800A of the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad. To further complicate matters
for anyone but the most knowledgeable US railfan (which I most certainly am not) it was rebuilt by the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad (ICG) so that its proper designation was ICG FP10, a naming not officially recognised by manufacturers EMD.
GCOX (seen above the number 4033 on the locomotive side) is the reporting mark for the Gold Coast Railroad Museum.
