TKTS 360 (3) - 13 April 2018

I have indulged myself with a 360° tour of the TKTS Booth in London's Leicester Square because I like the building and because the backgrounds in an ever changing city are of interest. TKTS has stood on the south side of Leicester Square since 1992. Its predecessor, a smaller hut, was on the west side and opened in 1980 as 'The Half Price Ticket Booth'. The TKTS name was adopted in 2001 emulating the Broadway/Times Square equivalent.

In this view, the restaurants of Irving Street are to the left and the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire hotel forms the backdrop to the booth.
