W51346 at Eastleigh (2M) - 12 February 2018
Cab end of Class 117 Pressed Steel DMBS W51346 at Eastleigh where it has been used as a spares donor for the Swanage Railway Class 117 unit.

My records show that I saw 51346 in service around 50 years ago although I do not have an exact date. The Pressed Steel units were, for a while, my favourites as they were relatively easy to see at a time when my movements were restricted by my young age and lack of money.

It took me a long time to be persuaded but I use it now primarily to convey timelessness but also, in some images, to remove the impact of too many colours.
