South Gate, Exeter - 2 February 2018

A recent interest in the Planagenets and the Wars of the Roses made all the more interesting this plaque in Exeter on the present day South Street at the junction of Little Southernhay Lane. The South Gate itself was demolished as long ago as 1819.
