South Tincroft Mine | Compressor House - 16 February 2017
The Compressor House of South Tincroft Mine was built in 1891 to house a horizontal, steam-driven, cross compound air compressor built by Harvey & Co. of Hayle. It supplied compressed air to rock drills deep underground. South Tincroft Mine closed in 1921.
