More Land Wanted - 21 February 2016

The arrival of these signs at the junction of Bridge Road and Swanwick Lane in Lower Swanwick makes a depressing sight. No developer today can see the tiniest patch of green without wanting to put houses on it.

This attractive parcel of land is next to The Navigator pub and restaurant and, although it is fenced separately, the signs obscure a small but valuable playground. I can not see the statistical evidence to support the need for all the housing which is being imposed upon the suffocating south. When will it ever end?
