Stray Dart - 19 February 2016

This, I think, is a newsworthy item for the bus enthusiasts who follow my Flickr posts. I do not usually photograph vehicles with open doors but, on this occasion, a closer inspection revealed that no-one was about to close them soon.

Seen in the Stubbington Community Centre car park, ex-Brijan Alexander Dash bodied Dennis Dart N5BJT had a removal notice issued by Fareham Borough Council firmly attached to the windscreen although it did look as though someone had started to try to remove it.

The notice was dated 12/02/16 and the handwritten element appears to read "does not appear used and unsecure (sic). Unable to check MOT + VL."

The outline of 'Brijan Tours' can still be seen above the entrance but the legal lettering has been removed. Brijan ceased trading in August 2015 and some vehicles went to Xelabus but this was not in recent use with that company.
