The Water Meadow (Mono) - 12 January 2016

I have used a little poetic licence with the title of a picture I have wanted to take for some time. It might not, strictly speaking, be a water meadow but this is the area around the course of the River Meon at Titchfield which is flooded almost year round to a greater or lesser extent. The waters recede significantly only in protracted dry periods.

Specifics notwithstanding, I felt that the recent fate of the caravan contributed to a pleasing composition.
