Carmen - 10 January 2016

The apparently cryptic title of this photograph reflects an acceptance of my lack of success with the colour original. I was watching the arrival of the container ship CMA CGM Carmen at Southampton and decided on an aggressive shot straight into sun. The result was, I felt, better treated with some heavy processing in addition to the b&w conversion. The outcome is, I hope, a striking picture which falls into no single album category.
