The Clore Gallery - 6 September 2015


The Clore Gallery was opened in 1987 as an extension to the then Tate Gallery (now Britain) to house the Tate's collection of works by JMW Turner. The fairly inoffensive architecture of the building has been included in criticism that it is not a suitable home for the artist's works.
