Day's Gone By (8) - 24 August 2015

Firstly, before the grammar police come after my seemingly rogue apostrophe, I should explain that its inclusion is critical to the wordplay of the title.
Day's Motor Park was a Peugeot outlet on the outskirts of Haverfordwest and closed in 2010. I am fascinated by dereliction as a photographic subject but also abhor the length of time for which it is allowed to persist in many cases. In this, my latest project, I present 16 views in both colour and b&w, the latter, I think, often emphasising the darkness of the situation.
The site is now awaiting development as a retirement village of 58 apartments with a warden.
