Snail Shadow (Mono Abstract) - 25 July 2015

Last evening, heavy rain brought the snails out on the march, setting off in all directions. I rather like snails; they seem to like walls. Today, it was time for me to play. I loved the pattern of the shell, the texture of the wall and the shadow. Before editing, the shadow, caused mainly by me and my camera, seemed to emanate inkily from the shell itself and a b&w treatment seemed to enhance the abstract nature of the image further.
