Leicester Square Redevelopment (1) - 30 December 2014

Whenever I go to London these days, which is infrequently, I am reminded that its size precludes me from recording everything I want to in every category which interests me. For that reason, I content myself with simply making my own small contribution to the wider world of photography.

In this view south along Wardour Street towards Whitcomb Street, the substantial redevelopment of the block between Swiss Court and Panton Street can be seen. The Met Police vehicle in the centre of the picture is Citroën Relay Mobile Police Station BU12AKV which is shown more clearly in my next picture. Leicester Square is a busy place at the best of times but I think this might have been in position as part of the preparations for New Year's Eve.
