Because it's a great photo and because it's you - I make an exception in commenting here! Normally I eschew anything to do with Halloween. I hate it - but that's just me, I know I'm out on a limb on this one! :o)

Thank you Andy. You're not alone in hating this day. I know quite a few people who share your thoughts. To me, I don't delve deeply in it and view it as a fun day for children to get candy. At the same time, I avoid anything to do with demons when it comes to Halloween work.

Oh wow, this is the best halloween picture I ever saw!

I'm flattered but the home owners deserve most of the credit for setting up this great display that I was able to digitally edit to make it surreal and ghostly.

Ghosts of those children we once were, who are now only pale reflections of the mercantile injunctions now universally distilled...?
This tradition is spread in the world without any other foundation than the ever-renewed consumption...
But I firmly believe that in your country it is substantiated and authentic, as your spectral and greatly/feverishly evocative composition demonstrates, William!
