The broken and scattered rocks symbolize the aftermath of the Rock in Horeb when Moses struck it as instructed. The blues and purple represent the outflowing of water as promised when the rock in Horeb was split. The blue color represents flowing water and our individual and unique introspective and spiritual journeys through life as well as our desire to soak up insight and knowledge while the rocks represent much needed strength and stability to address the many challenges and adversities in life as we thirst for peace and justice amidst the violence and injustice in our world. The smiling face represents the joy attained when our great thirst is relieved through acts of love, deeds of compassion, moments of peace and the attainment of greater understanding through learning and experience.

Faire jaillir de l'eau du rocher d'Horeb est cité dans les 03 religions monothéistes ."Tu frapperas le rocher, il en sortira de l'eau, et le peuple boira". Remarquable préambule pour cette superbe composition spirituelle,de paix et de justice. Je me réfère au visage souriant porteur d'espoir,d'amour et d'unicité...!

Your words and your composition are full of wisdom and richly symbolic, William.
I praise your optimism and your voluntarism, when my chronic disappointments tend to see in these broken rocks a reflection of the crumbling, ineluctable erosion of the human cultural edifice.....
But I follow your faith in love and in its redeeming and salutary virtue.

I converge with your way, and that of those who gather instead of separating. A vision that is as much political as it is humanistic. Which I find hard to leave in the hands of those in power, however humanistic Biden - and others - want to appear these days...

Eric, people should feel free to hold onto their beliefs whatever they may be without others trying to force them to change. The roads may be disjointed but there will be convergence somewhere along the way. Thus I respect your choice as well as that of others even if it diverges from mine.
