New Year 2019

I added falling snow to the photo since snow represents a renewal, which is offered each new year and each new day of life as well as peace and serenity. Even though here in New York, a soggy rainstorm will bring in the new year, snow is so much more pleasing since it brings brightness vs. gray, dullness and joy, especially among children our future as they play and sled in the snow vs. perceived discomfort and misery.

My theme for this new year is peace on earth with respect for human rights everywhere (I'll never give up hoping as quixotic as it seems), love (for family, friends, the people in our lives and life itself) - the origin and reason for our existence represented by the red heart, and joy since each precious day of life should be reason for joy and happiness, represented by the champagne glasses.
