in Prato - PIP

Acquaintances exchange greetings in Prato's beautiful Cathedral square.

In the PIP a side view of the most unusual feature of Prato's Cathedral: its beautiful outer pulpit. This detail really captures my imagination. It's easy to imagine a medieval preacher awing the congregation from up high, promising Hell's eternal fire to the sinners!
