I went to Prato on business today and was once again struck by some of its beautiful landmarks. Less glamorous than Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano or the other famous locations, it is nonetheless very Tuscan and will surprise you with some truly charming "gems". Acquaintances exchange greetings in Prato's beautiful Cathedral square. In the PIP a side view of the most unusual feature of Prato's Cathedral: its beautiful outer pulpit. This detail really captures my imagination. It's easy to imagine a medieval preacher awing the congregation from up high, promising Hell's eternal fire to the sinners!
