Weiße Bank vor Weißem Turm
Der Weiße Turm stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert und ist das älteste Gebäude von Ahrweiler - die weiße Bank davor wird nicht annähernd dieses Alter haben... Da der Turm ab 1689 der Prämonstratenser-Abtei in Steinfeld gehörte, stammt der Name des Gebäudes wohl von den weißen Kutten der Mönche.
