A 7m circular walk in November 2006 from Basset's Bridge at Polesworth, along the Coventry Canal to Grendon Bridge, to the Church of All Saints, back to the Canal and on to Bradley Green Bridge, Badersley Endsor and the Church of St Nicholas, then to the Church of St Leonard at Dordon. Weather cloudy with blustery cool wind.

A 6m circular walk in November 2006 from Park Lane near Black Brook via Manley, Green, and Weeford Park Woods. Rookery Lane to Hints, on to Weeford. Weather sunny with cool wind (10C)

A 5m circular walk in June 2005 from the B4176 along Abbot's Castle Hill ridge, Seisdon, Trysull, Hunter's Green. Weather hot and sunnny.

A 4.5m circular walk in March 2006 from near Acton Bridge via the Trig Point (99m), the Church of St James, a section of the Staffs Way to Parkgate Bridge, and back along the Staffs and Worcs Canal to Shut Hill Bridge and Acton Bridge.

A 6m circular in September 2006 from Weston, via Gayton, Sandon Park, Sandon and return by the Trent and Mersey Canal. Weather rain, heavy at times, clearing late on.

A 7.5m circular walk in January 2006 from High Bridge near Handsacre, along the Trent and Mersey Canal to Shaw Lane, Hanch Hall, Hill Top Trig point, Longdon, Armitage, and back along the canal. Weather cold (4C) with sunny periods..

A 5.5m circular walk in April 2008 from High Bridge at the river Trent via Mavesyn Ridware, Hill Ridware, Pipe Ridware, Nethertown and King's bromley Lane. (Weather sunny periods with cold easterly wind) On this walk it was the first time we had seen four hares together racing across a field. Towards the end of the walk on King's Bromley Lane we noticed what looked to be a greyhound track! (2021, the red flags at Pipe Ridware and King’s Bromley Lane are where the HS2 Rail Link will cross)

Little did we know on the walk back in April 2005 that we would cross the path of the future HS2 Rail Link. In the picture below my late friend is very close to this route... www.ipernity.com/doc/2254674/46491604/in/album/1055094
