A Glimmer of Life for the Old Railway Station ...


The Maine Central Railroad Station in Machias Maine: out-of-service for decades and the tracks were torn up 10 years ago. The trackbed was turned into a great hiker-biker trail (but used mostly by locals on four-wheelers and snowmobiles). The station is being preserved as a museum.
