It could be interesting to know where is the front line of the glacier now. Here in Switzerland glaciers are dramatically decreasing faster than expected a few years ago; in fact the Alps suffers a lot due to global warming.

This glacier terminates in a lake, not visible in this shot, which formed in 1929, according to Wikipedia. The glacier has retreated 3km since 1929 ... but looking at satellite and internet photos, it doesn't look like much loss since 2006 when the shot was taken. Intuitively though, one would expect global warming/"climate change" will really impact continental glaciers. Real catastrophic ice loss has occurred in Glacier Bay National Park, but that collapse started in 1900, so that pre-dates the current situation. (Trump said a couple years ago that there was no global warming, so maybe he can reverse environmental change just by tweeting about it.)
