A person could explore for years looking for rapids and a single falls such as these; and yet here are two dozen of them just stacked up like a staircase.

Great to see this impressive view my friend. We should have sailed up the Tracy Arm but could not because of too much ice. Looks like we missed a lot!

Hello Herb -- Always good to hear from you. We too only got about 2/3's of the way up Tracy Arm because of ice. A misty morning, occasionally the fog would lift enough to see the fiord walls. This (and any Alaska shot now going on Ipernity) was retrieved from Panoramio as it was collapsing; all the rest of them are on a broken external hard-drive ... haven't given up trying to retrieve them though.
