Gjógv ( literally: gorge) is a village located on the northeast tip of the island of Eysturoy, in the Faroe Islands . Mykines is the westernmost of the 18 main islands of the Faroes. It has been identified as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International because of its significance as a breeding site for seabirds,among which Atlantic puffins. Their total area is about 1,400 square kilometres with a population of 51,783 . (from Wikipedia) I spent a week on these amazingly beautiful islands . Vagar is the name of the island, Mulafossur the one of the fall.
