The Val Ferret runs from the foot of Mont Blanc on towards Col Ferret, the pass leading over into Switzerland. Along the left side of the valley are some of the highest peaks in the Alps. Thank you very much for your visits and comments.

The title comes from “A Christmas Carol “by Charles Dickens. Despite the total different description of the character in the story, this gentleman ‘s appearance made me immediately think of Dickens’s famous tale and I was unable to find any other title!
