Eysturoy, Gjógv

Gjógv ( literally: gorge) is a village located on the northeast tip of the island of Eysturoy, in the Faroe Islands .
The village was named after a 200-metre long sea-filled gorge that runs north to the sea from the village.
I had a great time there, walking up and down steep slopes leading to mossy cliffs, inhabited by birds only...

I was on the top of a hill and I took many shots of this village ...it was quite cold and misty, but I enjoyed the walks along the gorge so much!
Fabio
