I hope HS2 doesn't come too close to this old oak. It's just the sort of obstacle that the project planners would not hesitate to do away with.

Hi dear LGM, HS2 is just starting to plunge under the Chilterns at this point, so the oak tree is quite safe albeit it can see the entrance to the tunnel. Yes it was nice to enjoy the milder weather today, long my it last. Like you no sun though ~ hey ho ~ Have a good week ahead ~~~~
