Hi dear LGM ~ I cannot see this winning any prizes for anything. It was interesting to walk around it and enjoy the views from the top. It amused Finn for a while. Oil rigs are pretty large when you get up close. I wish you a grand weekend too ~~~

There has been a lot on the local news about this "art" installation Nick. Not sure what I think of it. You are the first person I know to have actually seen it. I'm pleased it amused Finn...that's gotta be good :-))

Yes it was interesting to get up close to an oil rig and even better to be able to tour around its various levels, but to call it an art installation is over the top and the cost out of this world.

Why people were queuing for over three hours to clamber over it is beyond me! We were lucky enough to choose a good time with hardly any queue to speak of. We also took a lift to the highest level and walked back down, me being old enough to wangle such benefits.

Yes Finn was happy and the local shop keepers had extra sales to celebrate
