A very old locomotive from around 1815. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_Elephant Look carefully, and you will see it is a geared 0-6-0 locomotive, as opposed to the later direct drive and coupling rods.

The Old Mill is the large building to left of centre. At one time it was a watermill fed by the river Nene. It is privately owned. The building on the right used to be a windmill, but I have no more information on it. As for the 'Black Dike', (the little watercourse), I have no idea, but I am sure it was given the name before the current days of woke!
