Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I'm happy that you had a good look!!
The book may be a big clue.. All I can read is "Die Frau Hitt" (the rest is a little blurred)
The internet says "In uralten Zeiten lebte eine mächtige Riesenkönigin, Frau Hitt genannt, und wohnte auf den Gebirgen über Innsbruck"
So, maybe this is Frau Hitt...

Best Wishes, (slightly late) HWW, and a Good Weekend to come,
Peter
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
Following Wilhelm's question I looked at the book. t talks of "Die Frau Hitt".
www.sagen.at/texte/sagen/oesterreich/tirol/zingerle/frauhitt.html
"In ancient times there lived a mighty giant queen, called Frau Hitt, and dwelt on the mountains above Innsbruck, which are now gray and bare, but were then full of forests, rich fields, and green meadows."
So, as you say, maybe a gathering of all the legendary giants! We certainly met a few!
Best Wishes, (slightly late) HWW, and a Good Weekend to come,
Love Peter

There were a few giants around, each with a book containing their story.
