It looks like the spectators were having a great time here, Peter, as well as the drivers; and I notice the drivers were given a fanfare.

Hi Amelia,
Thank you so much for visiting. I can certainly recommend this particular village as a great spectator spot. Everybody was friendly, and keen to get into the spirit of the day, and particularly show their appreciation of the owners of the horseless carriages.

You are right, it was a nice sunny day, which really made it worthwhile. I am sure that the level of enjoyment and participation would have been reduced if it was dull, grey, and raining!
